Thousands of organizations are conducting virtual learning Initiatives, usually as individual organizations or small groups. One consistent message emerging from the lessons learned so far is that the emerging 3D internet space will afford greater opportunity for global collaboration and learning among these disparate groups.

Using a first-ever public demonstration of IBM'S privately-developed capability, we will experience a blended, real-time, seamless, simultaneous telephony-wiki-virtual world collaboration environment that will allow global participants to collaborate in building some of the next-generation capabilities of the 3D Internet.

This summit, which is open to all, is meant to bring together key ecosystem participants to define new opportunities afforded by this evolving space. We hope to begin a process where we can work together to divide and conquer challenges, leading to higher value from virtual learning spaces and the 3D internet. This event will take place February 19th and 20th, 2008, in three spaces simultaneously. We will meet toll free via an operator assisted call, within IBM's Active Worlds based Extraverse and on the web through an interactive wiki environment.

PLEASE NOTE THE IBM WORLD SITE TO BE USED FOR THIS CONFERENCE IS WINDOWS-COMPATIBLE ONLY. There are no accommodations for other operating systems.
