The Kauffman Foundation Presents the
2011 State of Entrepreneurship Address & Luncheon
"The Rules for Growth"

Tuesday, February 8, 2011
12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The National Press Club
529 14th St. NW, 13th Floor - Washington, DC 20045
With the U.S. economy struggling to recover from its worst downturn since the Great Depression, policymakers and citizens are asking what long-term economic growth policies will help create new jobs and opportunities without adding to the national debt.

In response to this challenge, the Kauffman Foundation is convening the
Second Annual State of Entrepreneurship Address to explore effective, low-cost ways to promote innovation and accelerate U.S. economic growth, emphasizing changes in law and legal institutions that do not add to the national deficit.

Please join us for an address from Carl Schramm, president and CEO of the Kauffman Foundation, followed by lunch and a panel discussion featuring prominent experts on growth, economics, and policy.

Arthur C. Brooks, president, American Enterprise Institute
E.J. Dionne, senior fellow, Governance Studies, Brookings Institution; columnist, The Washington Post
Philip K. Howard, founder and chair, Common Good
George Priest, director of the John M. Olin Center for Law, Economics and Public Policy, Yale Law School
